Key Responsibilities
- Be part of a cross-functional Scrum team responsible for building and maintaining platform services and APIs.
- Design, develop, and execute test strategies including manual, automation, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Build and enhance automated test frameworks for platform services, desktop applications, and backend systems.
- Validate system integrations, embedded systems behavior, and Windows/Linux desktop applications.
- Create user scenarios, test strategies, and contribute to test-driven and behavior-driven development approaches.
- Set up and manage test environments and ensure CI/CD pipeline validation.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.
- Drive quality across SDLC/STLC phases including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Work closely with DevOps/SRE teams for platform stability, scalability, and performance.

Work Experience
- Hands on experience in software testing with focus on platform/backend and desktop validation.

Experience working with embedded systems and Windows/Linux desktop applications.

Hands-on experience in automation for desktop/background services.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines.

Key Skill Requirements

Strong experience in API testing and automation using REST Assured, Karate, or Postman.

Experience with desktop application validation (Windows/Linux environments).

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: C++, C#, Python, or PowerShell.

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Robot Framework or similar tools for desktop/background service automation.

Strong experience in backend/platform testing including microservices validation.

Experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python) for UI automation (if applicable).

Hands-on experience with TestNG/JUnit and build tools like Maven/Gradle.

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Strong database testing skills with SQL/NoSQL.

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience with Git.

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter (or equivalent).

Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

Ability to design automation frameworks and define test architecture.

Desirable Skills

Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

Experience with embedded systems testing and validation.

Understanding of event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
