Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PEB Site Engineer to manage and supervise the erection of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of projects while coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams. Typical responsibilities include supervising labour, coordinating crane operations, ensuring work follows approved drawings, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise PEB erection activities including columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracing, roofing, and wall cladding.
- Study and execute work as per GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, fabrication teams, and project managers.
- Plan manpower, cranes, tools, and materials for smooth site execution.
- Ensure alignment, bolt tightening, plumbing, and structural accuracy.
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain QA/QC records.
- Enforce safety procedures, work-at-height requirements, PPE usage, and toolbox talks.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain site documentation, inspection records, and material reconciliation.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 2–7 years of experience in PEB, structural steel, or industrial building projects.
Required Skills
- Experience in PEB erection and steel structure installation.
- Ability to read structural, fabrication, and erection drawings.
- Knowledge of crane operations, rigging, and lifting activities.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and construction safety.
- Good communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Willingness to travel and stay at project sites as required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of IS 800 and relevant structural steel standards.
- Experience in industrial, warehouse, factory, or commercial PEB projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and daily project reporting.
