Role Overview
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent guest experience, efficient staff management, cost control, and achievement of revenue and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Guest Experience
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations smoothly and efficiently
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and ambiance
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, safety, and hygiene standards
Team Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise service and support staff
- Motivate the team to deliver consistent service excellence
- Conduct performance reviews and recommend training or disciplinary actions
- Maintain discipline, grooming, and uniform standards
Sales & Revenue
- Drive sales through upselling, promotions, and guest engagement
- Analyze daily sales reports and take corrective actions where required
- Coordinate with marketing team for offers, events, and campaigns
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor food, beverage, and operating costs
- Ensure proper stock control, ordering, and vendor coordination
- Reduce wastage, pilferage, and operational losses
Financial & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports (sales, manpower, expenses)
- Control expenses in line with approved budgets
- Support audits and management reviews
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities
- Good understanding of restaurant P&L and cost control
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Hands-on operational approach
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Experience in standalone restaurant / café / hotel outlet preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
