Job Summary
The Junior QC Engineer is responsible for assisting in quality inspection and control of interior production and site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, samples, and quality standards. The role supports factory and site teams in maintaining quality and reducing rework.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection & Monitoring
- Inspect interior production work such as furniture, joinery, panels, and fixtures.
- Conduct site inspections for installation quality and workmanship.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, samples, and specifications.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain QC checklists, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Record defects and coordinate corrective actions with production and site teams.
- Assist in maintaining quality documentation and records.
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Site teams for quality clarifications.
- Support senior QC engineers during audits and inspections.
- Assist in sample approvals and mock-ups.
Material & Process Checks
- Check incoming materials for quality, specifications, and damages.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of materials.
- Monitor processes to reduce rework and wastage.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety guidelines at factory and site.
- Support implementation of quality and safety procedures.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of interior fit-out works and materials.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil, Interior Design, Mechanical, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction (freshers can apply).
- Factory or site QC exposure is an added advantage.
Preferred Knowledge
- Carpentry, modular furniture, finishes, hardware, and fittings.
- Basic quality control processes and inspection methods.

- Timely inspection and reporting
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
