Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Part-Time Finance Controller & Compliance Manager to oversee the company's accounting, bookkeeping, financial controls, compliance, reconciliations, and reporting functions. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the company's financial records remain accurate, compliant, reconciled, and audit-ready at all times. The role will be responsible for managing financial transactions across multiple bank accounts and credit cards, centralizing invoices received through various channels, maintaining Zoho Books, ensuring tax compliance, preparing management dashboards, and supporting auditors and tax consultants as required. This position serves as the custodian of the company's financial records and internal financial controls and will work closely with management to provide timely financial visibility and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and financial records in Zoho Books.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoice processing.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Ensure GST and TDS compliance and coordinate with tax consultants.
- Execute month-end financial close activities and prepare financial reports.
- Create management dashboards for revenue, expenses, cash flow, and receivables.
- Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Establish and monitor financial controls, compliance processes, and risk management practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter, CMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or financial control.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities.
- High attention to detail and integrity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance reviews.
- Prior experience with startups, technology companies, or professional services firms is an advantage.
Time Commitment:
- Flexible schedule.
- Approximately 4–8 hours per week.
- Availability for monthly finance review meetings and occasional audit/compliance support.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
