Job Summary
Basetech Plastics Private Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality standards, and lead shop-floor personnel. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within scheduled timelines.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate production operators.
- Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and company policies.
- Minimize production downtime and material wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Stores departments.
- Maintain production records and prepare daily reports.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a INJECTION MOLDING industry (plastics experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and safety practices.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in plastic injection molding.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, ERP).
