Key Responsibilities
- Process Operation: Operate and monitor chemical reactors, distillation columns, and scrubbers according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Parameter Monitoring: Control and record critical process variables including temperature, pressure, vacuum, and flow rates.
- Material Handling: Safely handle hazardous chemicals, including the charging of raw materials and the discharging/packaging of finished products (e.g., Chloro Acetyl Chloride).
- Quality Control: Perform in-line sampling and basic laboratory tests to ensure batches meet quality specifications.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPE, and maintain "Zero Liquid Discharge" (ZLD) environmental standards.
- Equipment Care: Conduct routine inspections (rounds) to identify leaks or malfunctions and assist in minor preventive maintenance (lubrication, filter changes).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate shift logs, batch records, and ensure a smooth handover between shifts.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ITI (AOCP - Attendant Operator Chemical Plant), Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or B.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Experience: 1–5 years in a chemical manufacturing plant (experience with Acyl Chlorides or Batch Processes is highly preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: * Familiarity with Unit Operations (Distillation, Reaction, Filtration).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in rotating shifts (including nights) and perform manual tasks such as drum handling and valve operation.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
