Job Description:
Gather requirements from multiple teams, management leaders and domain experts and formulate business metrics.
Extract, Manipulate and analyze data from large databases.
Simplify and automate existing complex reports, build dashboards and other metrics monitoring tools.
Technical Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of data design, data modelling, data management, and data visualization
Excellent understanding of the Power BI platform and architecture - workplaces, reports, apps, dashboards,
etc
Experience in creating data-rich dashboards, writing DAX expressions, and implementing row-level security
in Power BI.
Experience in creating and maintaining Power BI Dataflows & Datasets
Efficient with PowerBI data modelling tools – including GUI tools, DAX & Power Query, data types, etc
Experience creating user friendly reports using visualizations in PowerBI Desktop, including effective interac tive filtering and drill-downs.
Able to develop Excel templates and integrate with PowerBI as a simple data source
Familiar with GUI tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and MySQL Workbench
Soft Skills:
Ability to interact with business as well as technical teams
Strong communication and client management skills
Document process, models, designs, and solutions and able to explain, represent, and discuss with the team
Self-motivated and eager to learn
A team player and able to take direction and deliver.
