Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Shipment & Buyer Experience Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for our international buyers throughout the post-sale shipment lifecycle.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales, internal logistics, and Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure contract accuracy, vessel tracking, and timely delivery. If you have hands-on experience with export documentation and buyer correspondence, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication & Tracking: Act as the primary single point of contact for buyers, providing timely updates from dispatch to arrival.
- Contracts & Documentation: Draft sales contracts and manage export paperwork (invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading) for destination compliance.
- CHA & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with CHAs, shipping lines, and internal teams to track vessel schedules, bookings, and dispatch plans.
- Issue Resolution: Address buyer queries, resolve shipment discrepancies, and escalate delays or concerns to management promptly.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in buyer-facing roles, export/import operations, or shipment coordination.
- Domain Exposure: Prior experience working with CHAs, freight forwarders, or shipping lines is highly preferred.
- Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with export sales contracts and shipping documentation (BLs, packing lists, invoices).
Skills & Competencies:
- Communication & Contracts: Excellent written/verbal skills with strong contract drafting ability.
- Coordination & Accuracy: High attention to detail with proven ability to coordinate across CHAs, logistics, and buyers.
- Problem-Solving: Solution-driven mindset to manage tight timelines and resolve shipment delays proactively.
