Hostess / Guest Experience Representative (GRE)Role Overview
The Hostess / GRE is the first point of contact for guests and plays an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and memorable dining experience. The role is responsible for greeting guests, managing seating and reservations, coordinating with the service team and ensuring smooth guest movement throughout the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Manage guest seating as per reservations, table availability and restaurant flow.
- Handle reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists and guest enquiries.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when required.
- Maintain awareness of table status and coordinate with the service team for smooth seating.
- Communicate guest preferences, special occasions and requests to the concerned team.
- Ensure guests waiting for tables are updated regularly and attended to.
- Handle guest queries professionally and provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu and offerings.
- Coordinate with the service, kitchen and management teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Observe guest needs and proactively offer assistance wherever required.
- Handle guest feedback and escalate concerns to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain the reception/hostess area with high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ensure professional grooming, body language and communication at all times.
- Support the team during busy periods and assist with overall restaurant operations when required.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
