We are looking for a compassionate, confident, and result-oriented Admission Counsellor with a background in Psychology to guide prospective students and parents through the admission process. The ideal candidate should be skilled in understanding student needs, building rapport with parents, providing appropriate counselling, and effectively communicating the school's academic and extracurricular offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding admissions, academic programs, facilities, and school offerings.
- Understand the academic, behavioural, and developmental needs of students and guide parents accordingly.
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions with students and parents.
- Build strong relationships with prospective parents and provide timely follow-ups throughout the admission process.
- Handle admission enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, online enquiries, and other communication channels.
- Explain admission procedures, eligibility criteria, fee structures, and required documentation.
- Assess the requirements and expectations of parents and recommend suitable academic options.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and admissions.
- Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Follow up with prospective parents regularly and convert enquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Address parent concerns professionally and escalate complex issues to the concerned authority when required.
- Participate in school events, admission drives, orientations, and promotional activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle student and parent information responsibly.
- Prepare regular admission reports and provide updates on enquiry and conversion status.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology preferred.
- Candidates with a background in Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Child Psychology, or Applied Psychology will be preferred.
- Additional certification/diploma in counselling or student guidance will be an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, education, school administration, or a related field preferred.
- Freshers with a strong Psychology background and excellent communication and counselling skills may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
