Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Vatva, Ahmedabad

Industry: Electric motors manufacturers
- Design and develop motor components and assemblies with a keen focus on manufacturability and production scalability.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and BOMs.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to resolve manufacturing challenges, implement design improvements, and reduce production costs.
- Select appropriate materials, specify tolerances, and design for ease of assembly.
- Work with vendors to develop tooling and fixtures.
- Conduct prototype testing and validation.
- Support the transition from prototype to mass production.
- Analyze field performance data to drive continuous design improvements and ensure products meet quality and reliability standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design with hands-on manufacturing exposure
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, stamping, injection molding, die-casting)
- Knowledge of GD&T, materials, and design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
- Experience in mass production setup is a strong plus
