Valeur Fabtex Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and strategic professional for the role of Head – Supply Chain to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. The role requires strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, vendor development, logistics, production coordination, and operational planning to ensure smooth business operations and cost efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and dispatch.
- Forecast demand and ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Lead procurement planning and supplier negotiations for cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, transporters, and service providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure quality compliance.
- Identify alternative sourcing strategies to minimize supply risks.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control systems.
- Ensure accurate stock management and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Oversee warehouse operations, dispatch planning, and material movement.
- Implement inventory audits and reporting mechanisms.
Logistics & Operations Coordination
- Ensure smooth transportation and timely delivery of materials/products.
- Coordinate with production, sales, accounts, and operations teams for seamless workflow.
- Monitor logistics performance, delivery timelines, and freight costs.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and supply chain challenges proactively.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams.
- Set departmental KPIs and monitor team performance.
- Build a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct training and development initiatives for team members.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare MIS reports, supply chain analytics, and operational dashboards for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and process records.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and inventory planning.
- Excellent vendor negotiation and cost management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership and team management expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and MIS reporting.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/textile environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA / PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
