Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Two-Wheeler Service Technician to join our growing automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of two-wheelers (scooters, commuter motorcycles, and premium superbikes). The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, experience with modern electronic diagnostic tools, and a dedication to high-quality vehicle safety and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics & Repairs
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults accurately using digital diagnostic scanners and manual inspection methods.
- Dismantle and rebuild engines, transmissions, clutches, and fuel systems according to factory service manuals.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical wiring issues, ignition faults, and electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems.
- Fix critical safety components, including hydraulic disc brake adjustments, CBS/ABS calibration, and steering setups.
Routine Maintenance
- Perform scheduled periodic maintenance, including engine oil changes, air filter cleaning, and spark plug replacements.
- Inspect and tune components such as drive chains, sprockets, drive belts, and valve clearances.
- Execute wheel adjustments, including tyre replacements, wheel balancing, and suspension tuning.
Quality Control & Operations
- Conduct extensive test drives before and after repairs to guarantee the vehicle meets absolute road safety standards.
- Provide accurate repair estimates regarding cost, required parts, and completion time to the Service Advisor.
- Keep detailed service logs of all parts used, repair steps taken, and vehicle health metrics.
- Maintain workshop tools and diagnostic gear in clean, calibrated, and safe working conditions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum [1] years of hands-on experience working as a mechanic in a two-wheeler dealership or independent repair shop.
- Education: High School Diploma, ITI Certification in Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), or a Diploma in Automobile Engineering is highly preferred.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Two-Wheeler Driving Licence to conduct mandatory test rides.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of four-stroke engines, fuel injection technology, and modern vehicle electronics.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy vehicle components (up to 10 kg) and stand for extended periods during the shift.
