Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OT Technician to assist in surgical procedures and ensure smooth functioning of the Operation Theatre. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining OT equipment, ensuring sterilization protocols, and supporting surgeons and nursing staff in line with NABH guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Operation Theatre for scheduled surgeries
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during procedures
- Ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and OT equipment
- Maintain OT inventory and stock levels
- Monitor OT equipment functionality and report malfunctions
- Follow infection control and biomedical waste management protocols
- Maintain accurate records as per NABH standards
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital policies
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in OT Technology or Operation Theatre Technology
- Certification from a recognized institute
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques
- Familiarity with NABH protocols and infection control practices
- Basic knowledge of anesthesia equipment
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency cases
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Assisting in Multispeciality cases like - ORTHOPEDICS, Neuro Surgery, General Surgery and Obstretics & Gynaecology Surgical Cases.
