Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and technically sound Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) for the role of Service Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery at customer sites. This role involves extensive travel and direct interaction with clients, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work in field environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, and demonstration of machines at customer sites
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in equipment
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
- Train customers/operators on machine usage and maintenance
- Prepare service reports and documentation after each visit
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, R&D, sales) for issue resolution
- Ensure timely closure of service calls and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Maintain service records and spare parts usage details
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics)
Skills Required:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-handling ability
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits / mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently in field conditions
- Time management and reporting skills
- Freshers or up to 1 year of experience
- Willingness to travel extensively across regions
- Basic understanding of machinery/equipment systems
- Valid driving license (preferred)
Job Type: Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
