You will ensure that all warehouse services, freight costs, and temperature-controlled storage fees are accurately calculated and invoiced on time. - Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue accurate invoices, debit/credit notes, and bills based on client contracts, warehouse storage days, and dispatch logs. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Data Verification: Cross-check billing data against Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), transport sheets, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) logs to ensure clients are billed correctly for actual space and services used.
- Client Reconciliation: Reconcile ledger accounts with clients monthly, resolve billing discrepancies quickly, and maintain strong customer relationships. [1, 2, 3]
- Payment Tracking: Monitor outstanding accounts receivable, follow up with clients on overdue payments, and update payment statuses daily. [1, 2]
- Tax Compliance: Apply correct regional taxes, GST, or transport levies to invoices in accordance with local financial regulations. [1, 2]
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly billing reports, outstanding revenue summaries, and cash flow projections for management review. [1, 2]
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable—preferably within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and advanced Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and filtering).
- Skills: Excellent numerical accuracy, sharp attention to detail, and a strong understanding of commercial billing terms.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to handle client payment inquiries professionally.
Pay: ₹10,028.16 - ₹20,532.15 per month
