Role description
- SAP Functional Consultant for a world leading pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries and is head quartered in the United Kingdom. He/she must work part of the SAP IT team which works on supply chain
- Candidate should have worked on at least one implementation roll out support of Global Trade Services module of SAP Experience on SAP GTS E4H or SAP GTS 110 preferred Expected to work on greenfield development of SAP GTS and support it post phased golives Will be working closely with the architects business Stakeholders and contractors Must work along with a team on medium or complex projects having a good understanding of business processes in the life sciences pharmaceutical domain
- Must be able to understand business requirements from business users prepare functional specifications perform configuration changes assist technical teams eg ABAP in their work perform system and integration testing Heshe must be hands on configuring the system Heshe must also be able to lead a team and maneuver the team through different rollouts train them and manage the maintenance phase
Required Skills and experience
- Interfacing with SAP PI or any other middleware and a feeder system like SAP ECC Must have worked actively on interfacing with at least one customs broker and content provider software like Descartes
- Experience in handling trade regulations of at least one of the countries Europe Sweden UK France preferred US Netherlands and China Be quick learner of Country wise legislation of the other regions listed
- Must be able to suggest and evaluate Fiori apps
- Knowledge of tariff commodity codes customs duty rates reclassification files and free trade agreement rules Import and exportbased customs processing special customs procedures
- Billing of lading certificate of origin and trade agreements customization

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
- Overall years of experience
- Between 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP GTS
