Job Summary:
The School Driver will be responsible for safe transportation of students, staff, and school officials. The candidate should also have knowledge and experience in handling bank-related tasks, government office visits, document submission, and other official errands on behalf of the school.
Key Responsibilities:Transportation Duties:
- Safely drive the school vehicle as per assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure student safety and follow all traffic rules and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the school vehicle.
- Check vehicle condition regularly and report any maintenance requirements.
- Maintain travel logs, fuel records, and vehicle documents.
Bank & Official Work:
- Visit banks for school-related work such as depositing/collecting documents, cheque submissions, and other authorized banking activities.
- Handle official visits to government offices, vendors, and other institutions as required.
- Submit and collect documents, letters, and official communications.
- Maintain confidentiality of school documents and financial information.
- Support the administration team with external work and coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driving license with good driving experience.
- Minimum experience as a driver (school/institutional experience preferred).
- Good knowledge of local routes and locations.
- Basic understanding of banking procedures and official documentation.
- Ability to handle responsibility, punctuality, and confidentiality.
- Good communication skills and professional behavior.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with schools, colleges, companies, or other organizations.
- Knowledge of handling bank and government office-related tasks.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Must be flexible with school timings and official requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining discipline, safety, and professionalism at all times.
