Job SummaryHRIT University is seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Service Faculty member to join our Department of Hotel Management. The ideal candidate will inspire students through high-quality teaching, practical training, and industry-aligned curriculum delivery. You will bridge the gap between academic theory and modern hospitality sector practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver lectures and practical sessions on Food & Beverage Service operations.
- Lab Management: Oversee the training restaurant and mock bar labs for hands-on learning.
- Curriculum Design: Update course materials to reflect current global hospitality trends.
- Mentorship: Guide students in career planning, industry internships, and research projects.
- Assessments: Design, invigilate, and grade examinations, assignments, and practical tests.
- Departmental Support: Participate in university events, admissions, NAAC/NBA documentation, and committee work.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with a specialization in F&B Service from a recognized university.
- Eligibility: Net qualified or PhD preferred (as per UGC / AICTE norms).
- Experience: Minimum 10-12years of teaching experience or significant operational experience in a 5-star hotel luxury brand.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of mixology, table service etiquette, banquet operations, and POS software.
Core Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Strong classroom management and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and learning management systems (LMS).
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
