About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage day-to-day operations at our Distribution Center in Ghitorni.
The role will be responsible for warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, inbound and outbound processes, manpower management, dispatch operations, productivity and compliance. The candidate will work closely with Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Dark Store teams to ensure smooth inventory movement and timely fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.
- Ensure accurate and timely movement of inventory to dark stores and fulfillment locations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits and reconciliation.
- Monitor warehouse productivity, space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Manage and supervise warehouse supervisors, executives, associates and support staff.
- Plan manpower requirements and work schedules based on operational needs.
- Ensure proper inbound receiving, verification, put-away and inventory recording.
- Plan and monitor dispatches to meet operational timelines and service requirements.
- Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs, safety standards and operational controls.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Logistics and Dark Store teams for smooth inventory flow.
- Track key performance indicators such as inventory accuracy, order accuracy, productivity, dispatch timelines and stock variance.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution centers, logistics, fulfillment or supply chain.
- Experience managing warehouse teams and day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and dispatch processes.
- Experience with WMS, ERP or inventory management systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred Background
Experience in FMCG, Grocery, Retail, E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Distribution Centers or Fulfillment Centers will be preferred.
Candidates with experience managing high-volume warehouse operations and large operational teams will be an advantage.
Reporting
Reports To: Head of Operations / Operations Director
Team Managed: Warehouse Supervisors, Inventory Executives, Warehouse Associates, Dispatch Staff and Contract Workforce.
