We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise and hands-on React experience, who is comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools to build and ship high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop prototypes.
- Utilise AI development tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex) to accelerate development velocity and code quality.
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Design and build scalable REST APIs for mobile and web applications.
- Design and develop scalable database and backend architecture.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver reliable, well-tested features.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams and diverse work environments
Front-End Requirements
- Proficient in web fundamentals — HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS or LESS)
- Strong proficiency in React; experience in state management libraries like Redux / Flux
- Experience developing mobile applications using React Native or Flutter
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
Back-End Requirements
- Strong backend development skills — this is the primary focus of this role.
- Proficient in server-side languages; Node.js or Python strongly preferred.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful API services.
- Proficient in MySQL; experience with database design and query optimisation.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or DigitalOcean.
AI-Assisted Development
- Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, and OpenAI Codex as part of daily development workflow.
- Able to write, review, and critically assess AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Uses AI tooling to improve development speed without compromising code quality.
