Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and dynamic Sales Manager to lead business development and revenue growth for the hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating room bookings, corporate tie-ups, banquet sales, and maintaining strong client relationships to maximize occupancy and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients, travel agents, and business opportunities.
- Manage room sales, banquet sales, conferences, and event bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and hotel presentations.
- Coordinate with operations and front office teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and revenue analysis.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities.
- Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in corporate sales, banquet sales, or travel trade preferred.
- Good knowledge of local market and hospitality industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/reporting tools.
- Fluency in English and Tamil preferred.
