YOUR TASKS
-
Experience in Electromechanical product design is preferred (Like Sensors, Actuators, control modules, DCDC Convertors)

Generating Product Concept with expert knowledge of CATIA V5 (preferably plastics and die-castings)
-
Lead end-to-end mechanical design and development of heatsinks and power electronic assemblies ensuring thermal performance, structural robustness, and IP compliance.

Drive thermal management strategy through simulation (CFD/FEA), validation testing, and optimization for high-power automotive applications.

Support DFM, supplier coordination (extrusion/die-casting/machining), and root cause resolution to meet cost, weight, and reliability targets.

Collaborate with cross functions like manufacturing, hardware, supply chain, QA, and marketing teams to align design with technical specs and user needs

Analyzing the assembly by basic tolerance stack-up methods

Ensure Design for Manufacturing (mainly plastics and die-castings)

Ensure Product Design by application of component joining and assembly technologies
-
Experience in working NPD and Proof of Concept activities

Research Mindset to generate innovations, problem solving

Awareness of DFMEA and Failure Analysis
-
Knowledge of product development life cycle
-
Awareness of thermal management concepts
-
Awareness of basic CAE structural simulation result interpretation
-
Build and test prototypes, revise designs based on performance, manufacturability, ergonomics, or user feedback

Prepare and maintain engineering documents, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), inspection and test plans, assembly instructions, and revision logs
-
Conduct research on materials, competitor products, market trends, emerging technologies, and design benchmarks for continuous improvement and innovation

Proven record of Publications and Patents

Recommend and implement design workflow enhancements, procedural updates, and standardization across projects to boost efficiency and product quality
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelors / Masters / Phd in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Manufacturing or Production Engineering
-
8+ years of experience.
-
Tools : CATIA, ANSYS, SolidWorks etc.
-
Good knowledge in systematic design.
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
-
Strong written and oral communication skills in English
