Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Maintenance: Install, configure, and upgrade desktop computers, software applications, and servers.Network Administration: Monitor network performance and ensure seamless connectivity and reliable operation for all employees.Security & Access: Implement firewalls, apply security patches, and manage access permissions/user accounts.Backup & Recovery: Perform regular system backups and develop disaster recovery plans to prevent data loss.Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware and software failures, serving as the escalation point for complex technical issues.Essential Qualifications & SkillsTechnical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and network protocols (DNS, DHCP).Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic skills to identify root causes of IT failures and minimize system downtime.Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and provide end-user training.
