About the property
We are opening a small heritage hospitality property in Fontainhas featuring:
- 4 heritage guest rooms
- courtyard café serving coffee, pastries, and breakfast
- intimate garden seating
The vision is to create a place where guests feel like they have stepped into old Goa—warm, understated, and rooted in the character of the house.
We are looking for someone to lead day-to-day operations with care, ownership, and attention to detail.
Role overview
You will be responsible for the daily operation of both the guest rooms and the café.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining:
- hospitality
- guest experience
- staff supervision
- operations
- purchasing
- property upkeep
You will be the primary on-site decision-maker.
Responsibilities
Guest experience
- welcome guests and oversee check-in/check-out
- manage reservations and guest communication
- resolve guest requests and complaints
- ensure rooms are guest-ready daily
Café operations
- oversee opening and closing
- manage service flow
- supervise breakfast and café operations
- monitor quality of coffee, food, and presentation
- handle POS reconciliation
Team management
- manage barista, service staff, and housekeeping
- schedule shifts
- supervise attendance
- conduct basic training
- maintain team morale and service standards
Inventory & vendors
- order coffee, milk, bakery supplies, cleaning supplies, linen
- coordinate with vendors
- monitor stock levels
- reduce waste
Property care
- monitor maintenance needs
- coordinate repairs
- ensure cleanliness of courtyard, rooms, and common spaces
- proactively flag issues related to the heritage structure
Reporting
Provide weekly reporting on:
- occupancy
- café revenue
- guest feedback
- staff issues
- maintenance
- purchases
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
