We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our kitchen team in Pune. The ideal candidate should be confident in independently managing a kitchen section while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and take responsibility for an assigned kitchen section
- Prepare and execute dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure mise en place is completed accurately and on time before service
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef during service
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients
- Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage
- Guide and support junior chefs and commis working within the section
- Work efficiently during high-volume and busy service periods
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a professional restaurant kitchen
- Strong experience handling a kitchen section independently
- Good knowledge of food preparation and professional kitchen operations
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Disciplined, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
