Role Overview
Auro Impex is looking for an experienced Industrial HR / Factory HR professional to manage HR and personnel activities at our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for managing workmen and staff, ensuring labour-law compliance, maintaining discipline, and supporting smooth day-to-day factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, attendance, shifts, leave, and employee records for factory staff and workmen.
* Handle manpower planning and ensure adequate manpower across production, fabrication, welding, stores, maintenance, and other departments.
* Maintain attendance, overtime, shift, salary, and statutory records accurately.
* Coordinate payroll, wages, overtime, incentives, and contractor payments with the accounts team.
* Manage contract labour and coordinate with manpower contractors.
* Ensure compliance with applicable Factories Act, labour laws, PF, ESI, minimum wages, bonus, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
* Maintain all statutory registers, employee documentation, licences, and factory HR records.
* Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, absenteeism, and workplace issues.
* Develop and enforce HR policies, factory discipline, attendance rules, and workplace procedures.
* Coordinate employee welfare activities, uniforms, safety requirements, canteen, transport, and other facilities.
* Work closely with the Factory Head, Production, Safety, Accounts, and Administration teams.
* Support employee training, induction, safety awareness, and skill development programs.
* Conduct regular workforce reviews and provide management with manpower and HR reports.
* Assist management in improving employee productivity, retention, discipline, and overall work culture.
* Coordinate with labour authorities, inspectors, and other government departments whenever required.
Requirements
* Graduate degree in HR, Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, or a related field.
* 5–10 years of experience in Industrial/Factory HR, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries.
* Strong knowledge of factory labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll, contract labour, PF and ESI.
* Experience handling blue-collar/workmen workforce is essential.
* Good communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and HR/payroll software.
* Candidate should be comfortable working in a factory environment and managing shop-floor HR matters.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates from engineering manufacturing, fabrication, stainless steel, heavy engineering, industrial equipment, or air-pollution-control equipment industries will be preferred.
