Qualification
- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Mandatory: Valid Tamil Nadu Electrical Supervisor "C" Licence
- Experience in Industrial/Commercial Facility Maintenance preferred
- Proficiency (Both written and verbal communication) in English Language is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate in Hindi will be an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, monitor, and report all operation and maintenance activities carried out at the site.
- Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted operation of all systems.
- Maintain and update all maintenance records, MIS reports, logbooks, statutory registers, and other documentation as required by the client.
- Liaise with the client, statutory authorities, OEMs, suppliers, and utility agencies (e.g., TANGEDCO) for maintenance-related activities.
- Lead, guide, supervise, and monitor the performance of Electricians and Helpers deployed at the site.
- Address employee grievances, prepare duty rosters, and manage leave schedules without affecting the continuity of maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with the client for work execution, complaint resolution, inspections, and submission of maintenance reports.
- Be responsible for all billing-related activities, including verification of maintenance records, submission of supporting documents, and coordination with the client for invoice processing.
- Ensure the safe custody, proper utilization, and inventory management of all tools, tackles, testing instruments, and maintenance materials.
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety procedures, statutory regulations, and permit-to-work systems.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and critical maintenance activities at any time, including beyond normal working hours, as required by the client.
- Ensure timely closure of complaints and achievement of service levels specified in the contract.
- Supervise operation and maintenance of 11 kV/433 V electrical substations.
- Ensure safe operation of HT Panels, LT Panels, Transformers, DG Sets, UPS, APFC Panels and associated electrical systems.
- Attend HT breaker tripping and major electrical breakdowns.
- Plan and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Supervise maintenance of internal electrical installations, distribution boards, lighting systems and street lighting.
- Monitor transformer parameters, power factor, electrical load and energy consumption.
- Coordinate maintenance of solar power plants and solar street lights.
- Supervise Fire Alarm System (FAS) and Air Conditioner maintenance.
- Supervise maintenance of water supply pumps and associated electrical controls.
- Coordinate and oversee minor plumbing maintenance related to water supply systems, valves and pipelines.
