Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and site execution activities. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, site coordination, manpower management, billing, and project execution while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical site activities and ensure timely project execution.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor manpower, subcontractors, and site resources.
- Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Carry out transformer erection, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Supervise HT/LT panel erection, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Execute cable laying, cable tray installation, cable dressing, glanding, termination, and testing.
- Perform internal and external building electrical wiring works.
- Coordinate with civil teams for equipment foundations and related civil activities.
- Prepare and verify measurement sheets, client billing, subcontractor billing, and work progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to electrical drawings, BOQ, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and project managers for smooth project execution.
- Maintain daily site reports, material reconciliation, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies.
- Identify site issues and provide timely technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of transformer erection and commissioning.
- Experience in HT/LT panel erection and commissioning.
- Hands-on experience in cable laying, termination, and testing.
- Knowledge of building electrical wiring and power distribution systems.
- Basic understanding of civil works related to equipment foundations.
- Experience in manpower management and site supervision.
- Knowledge of project billing and quantity measurement.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic computer applications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure electrical projects.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and commissioning procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
