Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sr. Area Sales Manager to drive sales and business development. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in channel sales, distributor management and dealer network expansion for products such as Thinners, Solvents, Wood Finishing Products, NC/PU Sealers or related industrial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Appoint, manage and strengthen distributor and dealer networks.
- Expand business in Paint, Plywood, Hardware and Wood Finishing markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors and key customers.
- Lead, motivate and monitor the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand competition, pricing and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch and management teams for smooth order execution.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market intelligence for management review.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 10–15 years of experience in Paints, Solvents, Wood Coatings, Industrial Chemicals or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of channel sales, dealer development and distributor management.
- Experience in handling Raipur market will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
