We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 6–10 years of expertise in SAP system administration, installation, configuration, and support. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing SAP landscapes and working in S/4HANA environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Manage SAP transport management system (TMS) and system refreshes
- Execute client copies, system copies, and database refresh activities
- Handle SAP upgrades, patching, and kernel updates
- Support S/4HANA migration and conversion projects
- Monitor and manage background jobs, dumps, logs, and system health
- Work on user administration and role management (basic level)
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and infrastructure teams
- Maintain detailed documentation of BASIS activities
- Strong experience in:
- SAP BASIS administration and system lifecycle management
- SAP installations and upgrades
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP HANA database administration (basic to intermediate)
- Transport Management System (TMS)
- System copy & refresh procedures
- Knowledge of:
- OS/DB (Linux/Unix, Oracle, HANA, etc.)
- SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
- Familiarity with:
- SAP Fiori administration
- Security and user management basics
- Experience in S/4HANA system conversion/migration
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR) setup
- Exposure to SAP Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) environments
- Experience with SAP ChaRM / ITSM (Solution Manager)
- SAP BASIS or HANA certification
