Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SQL Developer with strong expertise in MS Access and advanced SQL development. This role is critical to the project, requiring an individual who can take ownership of existing systems, perform reverse engineering, and directly collaborate with business stakeholders to drive improvements and ensure system stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.
- Work extensively with MS Access databases, including enhancements and performance tuning.
- Perform reverse engineering of existing applications and databases to understand architecture, logic, and dependencies.
- Take end-to-end ownership of existing codebase, features, and ongoing support activities.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate directly with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Document system architecture, code changes, and processes for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvements in database design, performance, and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL development (advanced queries, joins, indexing, performance tuning).
- Proven experience working with MS Access (VBA, queries, forms, reports).
- Demonstrated expertise in reverse engineering legacy systems and databases.
- Experience in owning and supporting existing applications/codebases in a production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and handle critical project responsibilities.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to other relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience in data migration, modernization, or system transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with version control and SDLC processes.
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
