A Canteen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth service operations in the canteen or cafeteria. The role includes cleaning dining areas, assisting kitchen staff, serving food when required, washing utensils, and ensuring customers receive prompt and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, and dining areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
- Assist in food serving and beverage distribution
- Refill water stations, condiments, and service supplies
- Support kitchen staff during meal preparation and peak hours
- Dispose of garbage and maintain waste segregation standards
- Ensure hygiene and food safety procedures are followed
- Maintain stock of cleaning materials and report shortages
- Help arrange dining areas before and after service
- Attend to customer requests politely and professionally

Qualifications
- Minimum: 10th Pass or equivalent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
