The Production Engineer – Injection Molding is responsible for overseeing and optimizing injection molding operations to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily injection molding production activities.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and molds.
- Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor process parameters and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and wastage.
- Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and molds.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Analyze production data and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Coordinate with quality, tooling, and planning departments for smooth operations.
- Train and guide machine operators and technicians.
- Support new mold trials, material trials, and product development activities.
Quality & Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs.
- Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain proper documentation related to production and quality.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment on the shop floor.
