The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing and verifying client bills, contractor bills, quantity measurements, work certifications, and project cost documentation. The role requires close coordination with project, procurement, and accounts teams to ensure accurate billing, timely invoicing, payment tracking, and financial reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit client RA Bills (Running Account Bills) and final bills.
- Verify subcontractor and vendor bills based on actual work executed.
- Measure quantities from drawings and site records for billing purposes.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with site engineers for measurement verification and work completion status.
- Prepare work completion certificates and billing documentation.
- Track client payments, outstanding receivables, and billing milestones.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department for invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Verify purchase orders, work orders, and supporting documents before billing.
- Maintain billing registers, project cost records, and financial reports.
- Assist in budget monitoring, project cost control, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and billing procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing billing-related documentation.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, payment records, and correspondence.
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Degree or certification in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance will be an added advantage.
- 2–6 years of experience in construction or MEP project billing.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity surveying.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
