Job Description
KNS Air Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and skilled HVAC Design Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in HVAC system design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects and should be proficient in preparing technical drawings, calculations, and BOQs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems including Air Handling Units (AHU), ventilation systems, ducting, and chilled water piping.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, duct routing, piping layouts, and equipment selection.
- Perform cooling load calculations using industry standards.
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with project, sales, and execution teams for design implementation.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings and revise them as per project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant HVAC standards and client specifications.
- Assist in technical discussions with clients and consultants.
- Provide design support during project execution and commissioning.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of cooling load calculations and duct sizing.
- Understanding of HVAC equipment selection and system design.
- Familiarity with ISHRAE, ASHRAE, NBC, and relevant HVAC standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
