Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our jewellery showroom at Somajiguda. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in jewellery retail, sales management, inventory control, customer relationship management, and team handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the jewellery showroom.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales and support team.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and drive store profitability.
- Monitor daily sales, conversion, customer walk-ins, and team performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer queries or escalations professionally.
- Maintain proper stock control, inventory records, and ensure accurate stock movement.
- Coordinate with the accounts, purchase, inventory, and management teams.
- Ensure proper handling, display, security, and documentation of jewellery stock.
- Conduct regular stock verification and support audits.
- Monitor product movement, fast-moving/slow-moving inventory, and replenishment requirements.
- Train staff on jewellery products, sales techniques, customer handling, and company policies.
- Ensure showroom presentation, visual merchandising, cleanliness, and discipline.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat business.
- Implement promotional activities and company sales strategies at store level.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and operational reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, security procedures, and operational policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of jewellery retail and showroom operations.
- Excellent sales and target-achievement skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Good customer relationship and communication skills.
- Knowledge of gold, diamond, silver, and other jewellery products is preferred.
- Good understanding of inventory and stock management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in jewellery retail/store management.
- Candidates with experience as a Store Manager / Showroom Manager / Retail Manager / Jewellery Store In-charge will be preferred.
- Graduation or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Should be comfortable working in a target-driven retail environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and Telugu/Hindi will be an advantage.
