Key Responsibilities1. Procurement & Purchasing
- Procure materials required for interior projects such as:
- Plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers
- Hardware and fittings
- Glass, metal, aluminum, and steel items
- Electrical and plumbing materials
- Paints, adhesives, and finishing materials
- Furniture and customized interior products
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and compare prices.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure procurement activities are completed within project budgets and timelines.
- Monitor material availability and prevent shortages.
2. Vendor Management
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Conduct price negotiations and finalize commercial terms.
3. Technical Evaluation
- Review technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material requirements.
- Verify material quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with design and project teams for technical clarifications.
- Recommend suitable alternative materials when required.
4. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and stores teams.
- Track material deliveries and ensure timely supply to project sites.
- Resolve supply delays and material-related issues.
- Maintain procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, vendor databases, and contracts.
- Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis.
- Track pending orders and delivery status.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and management reviews.
6. Cost Control
- Analyze material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
- 3–6 years of procurement experience in Interior Fit-Out, Furniture Manufacturing, Joinery, or Construction Industry.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
