We are looking for an experienced Operation Head / Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing and fabrication operations, ensure smooth workflow, improve operational efficiency, and manage production coordination activities.
Candidates with experience in fabrication industries, pressure vessel manufacturing, welding engineering, heavy engineering, precision machining, custom equipment manufacturing, or similar engineering products will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily manufacturing and fabrication operations
- Coordinate between production, machining, welding, quality, stores, and dispatch departments
- Monitor production schedules, manpower utilization, and shop-floor productivity
- Ensure implementation of safety standards and quality procedures
- Improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime
- Review project progress and ensure timely completion within committed timelines
- Handle customer coordination related to production and dispatch schedules
- Maintain inventory control of raw materials and finished goods
- Implement SOPs and process improvement activities
- Prepare MIS reports related to production and operational performance
- Coordinate with management for production planning and execution
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in fabrication and manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of welding, machining, pressure vessels, fabrication assemblies, or industrial equipment manufacturing preferred
- Good leadership and manpower handling skills
- Strong production planning and coordination abilities
- Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, pressure vessel, process equipment, welding engineering, or industrial manufacturing companies
- Ability to handle production teams and factory operations independently
- Experience in manufacturing environments involving welding, fabrication, machining, or engineered products preferred
Qualification:
- BE Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical preferred
