Senior Full Stack Engineer Location India Employment Type Contract Overview We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale modern enterprise-grade software platforms. This role is ideal for an engineer who is hands-on across the stack, comfortable working in cloud-native environments, and experienced delivering production-quality applications, APIs, data services, and user-facing tools. The successful candidate will work in a high-delivery agile environment, partnering with product, engineering, architecture, data, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, production ownership, and the ability to leverage modern AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to improve development velocity, quality, and maintainability. Position Summary The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for building robust applications and services across the full technology stack, including front-end interfaces, backend services, APIs, data integration layers, and cloud-native deployment environments. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused. The engineer will contribute to solution design, application development, API design, data integration, testing, performance tuning, DevOps practices, and production support. The ideal candidate brings strong technical judgment, experience operating in controlled SDLC environments, and demonstrated familiarity with frontier LLMs and agentic coding workflows. What You'll Do
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full stack applications and services.
- Develop modern front-end experiences using frameworks such as React.
- Build backend services, APIs, and microservices using production-grade engineering practices.
- Design and implement REST and/or GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption.
- Build integrations across applications, data platforms, workflow tools, and enterprise systems.
- Work with relational, cloud, and/or analytical data platforms to support application and reporting needs.
- Optimize application performance, API latency, database queries, and system reliability.
- Participate in technical design discussions and help define scalable architecture patterns.
- Use modern AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to accelerate development, refactoring, testing, documentation, and code review.
- Operate within a controlled SDLC environment, including code reviews, approvals, change management, validation, documentation, and release controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Support production applications, including troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call rotation as needed.
- Key Skillsets Must-Haves
- Senior-level, hands-on experience building end-to-end full stack applications in production environments.
- Demonstrated experience using agentic coding and AI-assisted development workflows in a professional engineering context.
- Familiarity with frontier LLMs and modern coding tools such as OpenAI/Codex, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Ability to use AI coding tools responsibly for code generation, refactoring, test creation, documentation, debugging, and design exploration.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, context management, model limitations, code validation, security review, and human-in-the-loop engineering practices.
- Strong front-end engineering experience with React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based design, and responsive UI development.
- Strong backend engineering experience with Python, Java, or comparable enterprise-grade languages.
- Experience designing and building APIs, including REST and/or GraphQL.
- Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with containerized and cloud-native platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with cloud platforms; Azure experience preferred.
- Strong database and data modeling experience across relational, analytical, or cloud data platforms; Snowflake experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, scalability, observability, and maintainability.
- Proven performance tuning skills across applications, APIs, databases, and distributed services.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with production ownership.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering, product, business, and architecture stakeholders. Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, or streaming data patterns.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications, agent workflows, or tools that integrate with LLMs.
- Experience with semantic data models, analytics platforms, BI tools, or data product development.
- Experience in financial services, asset management, private markets, trading, risk, operations, or enterprise data environments.
- Familiarity with security, entitlementing, auditability, and compliance requirements in enterprise software.

- Ship multiple production-grade features, services, APIs, or platform capabilities.

- Help establish strong engineering practices around AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows.
- Reduce technical debt and improve developer velocity through thoughtful automation, reusable patterns, and documentation.
- Operate as a reliable senior engineer with ownership across design, delivery, support, and continuous improvement. Interview Process Technical interviews will focus on full stack engineering, system design, API development, cloud-native delivery, production ownership, and demonstrated experience using AI-assisted or agentic coding tools in professional software development.
