Key Responsibilities
US Tax Preparation & Compliance
Prepare, review, and file US federal and state tax returns, including Forms 1120, 1065, 1120S, and 1040.
Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, workpapers, and tax documentation.
Ensure accurate calculation of taxable income, deductions, credits, and carryforwards.
State & Local Taxation
Manage multi-state tax filings, including nexus analysis and apportionment.
Handle compliance for state income tax, franchise tax, and gross receipts tax.
Monitor filing deadlines and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Indirect Taxes
Manage sales and use tax compliance, including return preparation and filings.
Coordinate with automation tools such as TaxJar or Avalara, where applicable.
Assist in resolving sales tax notices, discrepancies, and inquiries.
Tax Advisory & Support
Stay current with US tax laws, IRS regulations, and Internal Revenue Code (IRC) updates.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure proactive compliance.
Assist in responding to IRS and state tax notices, audits, and inquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in US taxation.
Strong experience in US federal and state tax return preparation and review.
Hands-on experience with tax software such as Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax CS, ProConnect, or CCH Axcess.
CPA or EA certification preferred but not mandatory.
Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
