Job Responsibilities
- Explaining about inpatient ward facilities rules regulation of admission
- Monitoring vital signs and giving total care to patients admitted in the ward
- Assisting consultant during ward rounds
- Attending emergencies (Code Blue)
- Attending patient calls, giving proper medication to patients
- Explain the investigations to be undertaken by the patients
- Sending patient for investigation
- Preparing patient for surgery
- Providing post-operative care
- After consultant rounds checking case sheets for completeness
- During night duty checking system entries investigation, report entries for completeness
- Scheduling appointments with external investigations for patients (Scan centre MRI, CT) and sending patient on time with proper instruction
- Taking care of discharge patient (explaining prescription)
- Entries of blood investigations and test reports in the M.No. case sheets
- Checking emergency drugs and keeping them up dated also to check and follow up
