Key Responsibilities1. Product Listing & Data Management
- Bulk Uploads: Using CSV files or flat files to upload hundreds of products to marketplaces or the brand's website.
- Data Accuracy: Ensuring SKU codes, pricing, dimensions, and technical specifications are 100% accurate.
- Category Mapping: Assigning products to the correct "browse nodes" or categories so customers can filter for them easily.
2. Content & SEO Optimization
- Copywriting: Writing persuasive, SEO-friendly product titles and bullet points that highlight key benefits.
- Keyword Research: Integrating high-volume search terms into the backend to improve organic ranking.
- A+ Content / EBC: Coordinating with designers to upload "Enhanced Brand Content" or "A+ Content" (rich images and comparison charts).
3. Visual Merchandising
- Image Quality Control: Ensuring all product photos meet platform guidelines (e.g., white backgrounds, specific resolutions).
- Image Tagging: Adding "alt-text" to images for better accessibility and search engine visibility.
4. Inventory & Pricing Updates
- Price Monitoring: Updating prices during sales events or adjusting them based on competitor analysis.
- Stock Updates: Syncing inventory levels to prevent "Out of Stock" issues on active listings.
