POSITION: Junior Lab Technician(Phlebotomist)
REPORTS TO: Dept In-charge
CO-ORDINATES / DUTIES HANDOVER (In case of absence): Sr.Lab Technician / DIC
RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY
§ Collect Blood Primarily by performing Vein punctures
§ Co-ordination and transporting the samples collected in the collection area to the respective department/processing centre at recommended transportation condition.
§ printing and issuing reports to Patients
§ Giving instructions to the patient for special test regarding sample collection
§ Maintaining necessary stock in the sample collection section
§ Responsible for proper collection and maintain the relevant documentation as per QMS.
§ Should follow all safety protocols during the collection of samples.
§ Segregation and safe disposal of biowaste.
§ Practice proper patient identification, label vials with patient names and date.
§ Be friendly, courteous and sympathetic when it comes to working with patients.
§ Keep your phlebotomy cart or station well-organized at all times.
§ Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment
§ Collecting feedback form from patients.
- Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Act as auditee during internal audit of the lab
- Provide any valuable inputs to the management for better and quality service by the organization.
- Maintain work ethics and team building in the department.
- Participate in training and evaluation in the department

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
