- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Record journal entries accurately and timely.
- Ensure proper accounting of all financial transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Provide financial data and analysis to management.
- Coordinate payroll processing and verify salary data.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns within deadlines.
- Assist in GST filing, TDS deductions, and tax reconciliations.
- Maintain tax records and support tax audits.
- Monitor departmental expenses and budgets.
- Analyze costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare schedules and documents required for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary information.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
- Guide junior accountants and accounts assistants.
- Review accounting entries and ensure accuracy.
