Key Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable database solutions.
Proficiency in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Cursors, Collections, Dynamic SQL, Bulk Collect, FORALL, Exception Handling, and REF Cursors.
Strong experience in SQL Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Execution Plan Analysis, Indexing, Partitioning, Materialized Views, and Database Performance Monitoring.
Good understanding of Oracle SQL, Database Design, Normalization/Denormalization, Data Modeling, Constraints, Views, Sequences, and Transactions.
Experience working with Production Support, troubleshooting database issues, debugging, root cause analysis, code deployments, and batch job monitoring in Unix/Linux environments.
Familiarity with ETL processes, data migration, Shell Scripting, Git, Jenkins, SQL Developer, TOAD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, AWS Kiro, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools for code generation, SQL optimization, debugging, documentation, and improving developer productivity.
Ability to validate AI-generated code and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and performance best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other enterprise applications will be an added advantage.
