Position: Network Engineer / Network Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to independently manage and monitor our enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of intranet and WAN services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor intranet performance, manage firewall policies, and administer Active Directory
- Handle network port management, IP addressing, and new network installations
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Manage LAN switching (STP, VTP) and WAN links (Leased Lines, MPLS, L2/Ethernet circuits)
- Implement and maintain Network Security including L2/L3 security, VPN, and MPLS
- Manage Wi-Fi and RF network components
- Deploy DDoS detection/mitigation solutions and generate reports via NMS tools
- Monitor, analyze, and restore network services during outages within defined SLAs
- Respond to and resolve faults via alerts, tickets, and complaints promptly
- Ensure Layer 2 redundancy (Spanning Tree, Trunking, Link Aggregation)
- Apply IP fundamentals: ARP, routing, ICMP/UDP/TCP, NAT, IP filtering
- Configure VLANs, STP/RSTP, VRRP/HSRP for network resilience
- Manage fiber optic connectivity and interface types
- Enforce security best practices: port security, 802.1X, RADIUS, IDS
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise in Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and VPN technologies
- In-depth knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Proficiency in network monitoring/reporting tools (NMS)
- Sound understanding of application protocols (HTTP, SMTP)
- Excellent troubleshooting and incident response skills
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in IT/CS/ECE or related field (CCNA/CCNP preferred)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
