ABOUT US
Misba Holidays designs and operates holiday packages, group tours and custom itineraries. Most of our bookings still come through phone calls, WhatsApp and walk-ins. We're building a proper online booking platform, and you'll be the developer who owns it.
THE ROLE
Design, build, launch and improve the Misba Holidays website and booking system. You'll work directly with the founder and operations team, with real ownership of technical decisions — including the stack.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD
A mobile-first website showcasing tour packages, destinations and itineraries- Search and filtering by destination, dates, duration, budget and package type- Package pages with day-wise itineraries, galleries, inclusions/exclusions and pricing tiers- End-to-end booking flow with payment gateway integration (full payment, part payment, deposits)- Automated confirmations, invoices and booking vouchers- An admin panel so the ops team can manage packages, pricing, availability, bookings and enquiries without touching code- Hosting, deployments, backups, security and analytics
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years professional web development experience, with at least one site built and launched end to end- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive design- Solid back-end experience in at least one server-side language or framework- Database design and management- Hands-on payment gateway integration- Git, deployment and basic server/hosting administration- Practical web security knowledge — authentication, input validation, HTTPS, protecting customer data- A portfolio of live sites we can visit- Clear communication with non-technical colleagues
NICE TO HAVE- Travel, hotel, tour or ticketing platform experience- Travel supplier / GDS APIs or channel managers- SEO and performance optimisation- UI/UX ability or comfort working from Figma designs
TECH STACKOpen — bring what you build best in. React/Next.js, Node, PHP/Laravel, Python/Django or a well-configured WordPress setup are all fair game. Tell us what you'd choose for this project and why.
