Job Role
We are looking for a dynamic, commercially sharp, customer-focused, and technically competent Sales Spares Executive to strengthen our Spare Parts Sales team.
Key Responsibilities
· Actively monitor, identify, and track spare parts tenders on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other government e-procurement portals. Handle the complete bid preparation, documentation, and online submission process.
· Prepare and submit precise techno-commercial quotations for OEM spare parts by using catalogues, Price List and coordinating with OEMs for pricing and technical clarifications.
· Follow up with customers for inquiries, quotations, and purchase orders. Track orders diligently and coordinate with internal departments for timely execution.
· Proactively participate in customer meetings and Price Negotiation Committee (PNC / CNC) discussions, handling both virtual and physical sessions at customer sites as required as per directives of Sales Manager.
· Manage daily transactions, inventory tracking, and order processing using the company’s ERP system (TCS iON). Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely placement of OEM orders.
· Maintain meticulous sales trackers, MIS, quotation logs, and inventory reports. Utilize advanced Excel to monitor gross margins, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and safety stock levels.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships with Defence and Marine sector clients, ensuring strict adherence to billing workflows and credit control timelines.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
· Degree or Diploma with relevant experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, or Spare Parts Management.
· 3–5 years of experience in Marine, Industrial, or Engineering spare parts sales and customer coordination; experience with Defence, Shipyards, or OEM businesses is preferred.
· Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably TCS iON.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Nested IF, Conditional Formatting, and Data Validation.
· Strong verbal and written communication, customer coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills with the ability to work independently.
· Willingness to travel across India to customer sites, naval bases, and shipyards for business coordination and PNC meetings.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
